The Thursday exception to remember
If Yankees–Red Sox and Cubs–Padres are the only two series still playing, New York’s Game 3 moves to 7 p.m. Eastern / 5 p.m. Mountain / 4 p.m. Pacific. Otherwise, MLB’s published scenarios put this matchup at 8 p.m. Eastern.
Check the final October 1 listing after Wednesday’s games before setting your recording. Leave extra recording time for a long game; baseball has no fixed finishing time.
