Report: Tyler Huntley’s Turf Toe Injury Is Season Ending
Tests reportedly revealed a season-ending injury after Huntley left Sunday’s loss at Buffalo. Joe Fagnano is Baltimore’s announced starter for Thursday.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley has suffered a season-ending turf toe injury, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Wednesday.
Tests revealed the extent of the injury, according to the Ravens’ report citing Schefter. Huntley was hurt in Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills after replacing Lamar Jackson, who injured his right thumb on Baltimore’s first offensive play.
Jackson requires surgery, and coach Jesse Minter announced Tuesday that undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano will start Thursday against Jacksonville. Fagnano also sustained an ankle injury in Buffalo but was a full participant in Tuesday’s practice.
Huntley made three starts earlier this season while Jackson was sidelined by an ankle injury. He led a late game-tying touchdown drive in the Ravens’ 30–23 overtime win against Atlanta in Week 5. Baltimore lost his next two starts against Cleveland and Cincinnati.
In five appearances this season, Huntley completed 76 of 110 passes for 727 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. He added 76 rushing yards and a touchdown. He has spent six of his seven NFL seasons with the Ravens.
