Report: Thunder Agree to Two-Year Deal With Dalen Terry
ESPN reports that the 24-year-old wing has agreed to join Oklahoma City. Terry spent training camp with Golden State after playing for Chicago and Philadelphia last season.
Dalen Terry has agreed to a two-year contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old, 6-foot-6 swingman enters his fifth NBA season after playing for the Chicago Bulls and Philadelphia 76ers. He trained with Golden State during the offseason and attended the Warriors’ training camp last month, according to Charania’s report.
Terry appeared in 48 games between Chicago and Philadelphia last season, averaging 3.7 points and 1.8 rebounds. The Bulls selected him 18th overall in the 2022 draft. He has averaged 3.5 points across 218 NBA games.
NBC Sports reported that the second year of the agreement is not guaranteed. Terry had been set to join Golden State’s G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors, before Oklahoma City moved to add him.
The Thunder have been seeking depth after a series of significant injuries. The reported agreement gives Oklahoma City another wing option and fills its final open roster spot.
