Report: Giants Agree to Three-Year, $46 Million Extension With Greg Newsome II
The reported deal is worth $46 million, including $32 million guaranteed, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter via NBC Sports.

The New York Giants and cornerback Greg Newsome II have agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $46 million, including $32 million guaranteed, NBC Sports reported Tuesday, November 3, citing ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The reported agreement would extend Newsome’s stay beyond the one-year contract he signed with New York as a free agent this offseason. The Associated Press also reported the agreement, citing a person who spoke anonymously because the extension had not been announced.
Newsome has recorded 25 tackles, one interception and six passes defensed in six appearances this season, according to NBC’s report. He joined the Giants after playing for Cleveland and Jacksonville.
The Browns selected Newsome in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He remained with Cleveland until a trade sent him to the Jaguars during the 2025 season, then reached free agency before joining New York.
Through 77 regular-season appearances, Newsome has totaled 232 tackles, five interceptions and one sack. He also appeared in the playoffs with both the Browns and Jaguars.
