Jaylen Warren rushed for 143 yards on 17 carries as the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cleveland Browns 27–6 on Sunday at Acrisure Stadium, taking sole possession of first place in the AFC North.

The Steelers improved to 6–2 with their fourth consecutive victory, while Cleveland fell to 5–3. Pittsburgh also evened the season series and extended its regular season home winning streak against the Browns to 23 games.

Warren scored from one yard out in the third quarter after Aaron Rodgers found Darnell Washington for a 58-yard gain. That touchdown stretched the lead to 27–6 and completed Pittsburgh’s scoring.

Pittsburgh’s defense supplied eight sacks and two takeaways. T.J. Watt recorded two sacks, and Cameron Heyward added 1.5. The Steelers held Cleveland to 34 rushing yards, keeping the Browns from establishing a balanced attack.

Washington finished with three catches for a career-high 94 yards. Rodgers completed 13 of 25 passes for 172 yards before backup Mason Rudolph took over with the game settled.

The Browns’ own postgame report identified their opening possessions as an immediate problem: both ended with fumbles. Pittsburgh took advantage of the second turnover when Rico Dowdle finished a short scoring drive with a touchdown.

Cleveland allowed 160 rushing yards in the first half. Warren’s 51-yard run helped set up a field goal, and another 23-yard burst late in the second quarter advanced the drive that ended with a touchdown.

Pat Freiermuth’s one-yard rushing touchdown with one second remaining made it 20–6 at halftime. Cleveland scored on two of its 12 possessions and finished without a touchdown for the first time this season.

Denzel Ward’s third interception of the season gave Cleveland its only takeaway, but the offense never scored after halftime. The Browns next visit New Orleans on November 8, with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. EST.
