Austin FC Agree to Sign Eze Onuoha for 2027 Sprint Season
The Finland youth international will join after turning 18 and occupy a U22 Initiative roster slot.
Austin FC have agreed to acquire midfielder Eze Onuoha from Finland’s SJK Seinäjoki, with the teenager set to join ahead of the 2027 MLS Sprint Season.
According to the league’s transfer announcement, Onuoha will arrive after his 18th birthday in December and hold a U22 Initiative roster slot. His contract runs through the 2029-30 season, with an option for 2030-31.
Onuoha joined SJK from FC Honka in August 2025 and scored on his Finnish top-flight debut. He has four goals and one assist in 22 appearances for SJK across competitions.
He has also made nine appearances for Finland’s under-17 and under-18 teams. The agreement adds him to Austin’s future roster rather than its remaining 2026 matches.
