2026 Silver Slugger Finalists Announced; Winners Due November 17
Shohei Ohtani and Kyle Schwarber are the National League designated hitter finalists, with winners to be revealed November 17.

Louisville Slugger’s 2026 Silver Slugger Award finalists were announced Thursday, with Shohei Ohtani and Kyle Schwarber competing for the National League designated hitter honor.
Pete Crow-Armstrong and Seiya Suzuki are among the NL outfield finalists. Mike Trout is an American League outfield finalist, while Yordan Alvarez and Ben Rice are the AL designated hitter finalists.
The winners will be announced November 17 at 6 p.m. Eastern Time on FanSided’s The Baseball Insiders YouTube channel.
Major league managers and coaches vote for the awards, which recognize offensive production by position in each league. Each team has four votes, allocated to its manager and three coaches, and voters cannot select their own players. Separate awards recognize each league’s top offensive team.
