A.J. Brown Misses Wednesday Practice With Ankle and Knee Injuries
New England lists Brown as a nonparticipant before Sunday’s game against Green Bay. His final game status remains unposted.

A.J. Brown did not participate in the New England Patriots’ Wednesday practice as the team prepared to face the Green Bay Packers.
The Patriots’ Week 9 injury report lists ankle and knee injuries for Brown. Thursday and Friday participation fields and his game designation remain unposted, so Wednesday’s absence does not settle his availability for Sunday.
Coach Mike Vrabel said before practice that Brown would not take part. The knee is reportedly the injury currently keeping the receiver sidelined, NBC Sports’ Myles Simmons reported.
Brown has appeared in three games this season, catching nine passes for 101 yards. He missed four weeks with the ankle injury he sustained early in New England’s Week 1 loss to Seattle.
Asked Wednesday whether Brown could return to injured reserve, Vrabel limited his answer to the receiver’s condition that day. He did not announce an IR move or supply a return timetable. The Patriots’ next game is against Green Bay on Sunday, November 8.
