Taylor Fritz Rallies Past Benjamin Bonzi to Advance at Paris Masters
Fritz won the final two sets against Bonzi in the round of 56 and will face Alex Molcan next at the Paris Masters.

Taylor Fritz recovered from a set down to beat French qualifier Benjamin Bonzi 3–6, 6–3, 6–4 in the first round of the Paris Masters on Tuesday, November 3. The American advanced to face Alex Molcan in the second round.
Bonzi moved 4–1 ahead before taking the opening set, but the 11th seed won the next two to complete the turnaround, the tournament reported. The official report timed the match at one hour and 41 minutes.
The ATP’s results sheet places the match in the round of 56. Fritz’s win therefore sends him into the second round, where Molcan is the next opponent named by the tournament.
Fritz remained in contention for the ATP Finals after the result. He had finished runner-up at both the US Open and ATP Finals in 2024, and entered the final Masters 1000 event of this season still seeking a Turin place. Paris runs through November 8; the ATP Finals follow from November 15–22.
