Zak Chelli Signs Multifight Deal With Zuffa Boxing
The British light heavyweight joins the promotion after stopping David Morrell in May.

British light heavyweight Zak Chelli has signed a multifight contract with Zuffa Boxing, the company announced Wednesday.
Chelli, 28, is coming off a tenth-round stoppage of David Morrell in May. He accepted that fight on two weeks’ notice and enters the new agreement with a record of 17 wins, three losses and one draw, including nine knockouts.
The Londoner turned professional at super middleweight in 2017 before moving to light heavyweight last year. He works as a supply teacher at a secondary school in Surrey.
Zuffa has not announced a date or opponent for his debut with the promotion. Sky Sports also confirmed the signing and said Chelli’s fights would return to its coverage.
