South Africa Gets Three Tests in England Before the Netball World Cup
The Proteas will play two matches at Wembley Arena and one in Leicester in February, a year after beating England in Johannesburg.

South Africa will play three netball Tests in England in February as the Proteas prepare for the 2027 World Cup in Sydney. Netball South Africa president Mami Diale said Friday that the series will help the team test combinations against one of the sport’s highest-ranked sides.
Netball South Africa announced matches at Wembley Arena in London on Feb. 6 and 7, followed by the finale at Mattioli Arena in Leicester on Feb. 10. England was third in the world and South Africa fifth when the fixtures were announced.
Diale called it part of South Africa’s “ongoing process of testing player combinations against top-four nations” in an interview with SABC Sport. The Proteas won the sides’ last series 2–1 in Johannesburg in January, according to team sponsor SPAR.
England has another international series before South Africa arrives. The Roses play Jamaica in London on Nov. 21 and 22, then travel to Jamaica for the return leg.
