Saquon Barkley Says Hamstring Responded Well as Back Issue Limits Return
Barkley finished with 62 rushing yards and a touchdown against Dallas, but a back issue limited his first game after a two-game absence.

Saquon Barkley gave a positive assessment of his hamstring after returning against Dallas on Monday, although a back issue restricted his involvement in Philadelphia’s 38–21 defeat.
Barkley said his hamstring “came out great,” NFL.com reported Tuesday, citing ESPN. That assessment concerns the hamstring; it does not establish that the running back escaped the game without another physical problem.
He carried seven times for 62 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for nine yards. A 29-yard run on his first carry helped set up an opening-drive touchdown, but his participation was limited as the game continued.
Barkley had missed the previous two games with the hamstring injury. Coach Nick Sirianni said the Eagles consulted the player, doctors and trainers before clearing him and intended to monitor him closely.
Philadelphia fell to 2–5 with its fifth consecutive loss. Barkley’s health remains a separate question from whether he was available Monday, and no new return-to-full-workload timetable was established in the report.
