Seahawks Agree to Acquire Quenton Nelson From Colts for Two Draft Picks
Seattle is sending a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick to Indianapolis, according to NFL Network and ESPN.

The Seattle Seahawks have agreed to acquire eight-time Pro Bowl guard Quenton Nelson from the Indianapolis Colts for a 2027 third-round draft pick and a 2028 fifth-round selection, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Tuesday.
The reported deal comes with Indianapolis at 2–5 following Sunday’s loss to Minnesota. The Colts fired general manager Chris Ballard on October 19, placing the direction of their roster under scrutiny ahead of the November 10 trade deadline.
Nelson gives Seattle an experienced addition to its offensive line. For the Colts, two future selections would provide additional draft capital while leaving a major change to manage on the interior of the line. Seattle’s immediate benefit would be the addition of a long-established starting guard, although the report did not specify where or when he would first line up.
The transaction was reported as an agreement Tuesday. Team confirmation and Nelson’s first practice or game availability remain separate developments.
