Browns Sign Maliek Collins to Two-Year Contract Extension
Cleveland extends the veteran defensive tackle, who has 3.5 sacks through seven starts this season.

The Cleveland Browns have signed defensive tackle Maliek Collins to a two-year contract extension, the team announced Monday.
Collins, in his 11th NFL season, has started Cleveland’s first seven games and recorded 3.5 sacks, 17 tackles, six tackles for loss and eight quarterback hits. The announcement did not disclose financial terms.
He joined the Browns in March 2025 and produced a career-high 6.5 sacks in 12 games during his first season with the club. A quadriceps injury that required surgery ended that campaign with five games remaining.
The extension keeps an experienced interior defender in Cleveland’s plans beyond the current season. Collins’ early production gives the agreement immediate football context, while the absence of published salary details limits conclusions about its cap consequences.
Cleveland’s announcement centers on continuity in the defensive front. Any assessment of guaranteed money, annual value or the contract’s structure must await reliable disclosure of those terms; none was established in the club’s release.
