Saints Claim Audric Estimé and Release Daniel Carlson
The running back returns to New Orleans from Cleveland in a linked pair of roster moves.

The New Orleans Saints claimed running back Audric Estimé off waivers from the Cleveland Browns and released kicker Daniel Carlson on Tuesday, November 3, the team announced.
Estimé returns to a franchise he represented during the 2025 season and again in training camp and preseason this year. His latest move follows one appearance for Cleveland, in which he carried nine times for 19 yards and a touchdown. He also spent time on the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad.
In his previous regular-season stint with New Orleans, Estimé appeared in seven games and made one start. He rushed 46 times for 198 yards and one touchdown, adding 12 receptions for 103 yards. Those rushing and receiving figures gave him 301 yards from scrimmage with the Saints in 2025.
Tuesday’s announcement paired the waiver claim with the termination of Carlson’s contract. New Orleans did not name a replacement kicker in that release or announce how Estimé would be used in its backfield.
