Pat McAfee Show Sets October Audience High With 483,000 Viewers
The Pat McAfee Show averaged 483,000 across television and digital in October, about 10% above last year’s corresponding month.

The Pat McAfee Show averaged 483,000 viewers across television and digital platforms in October, its strongest October since joining ESPN in 2023, according to Barrett Media’s November 2 report citing ESPN. The combined audience was approximately 10% above the 439,000 reported for October 2025.
The distinction between the combined audience and television alone matters. The reported average includes digital viewing, with Nielsen Big Data + Panel and YouTube Analytics identified as the measurement sources. It is not a count of television viewers alone or the number of different people reached during the month.
How October compares with September
ESPN’s official September studio report put McAfee’s combined audience at 464,000, a September record and a 4% increase from the previous year. The October result is approximately 4% higher than that September figure.
The September release defines its Nielsen reporting month as August 31 through September 27. It also identifies the combined television and digital basis for McAfee, preserving a distinction from the television averages supplied for other studio programs.
That separation matters when comparing McAfee with First Take or Pardon the Interruption. ESPN’s September report listed First Take at 500,000 and PTI at 794,000. Those are separate program averages for a different reporting period; placing them beside October’s combined McAfee figure does not produce a current, comparable television ranking.
Barrett Media also reported that McAfee’s television audience among adults aged 18 to 49 rose 20% from the previous October. The demographic change describes a narrower audience than the combined all-viewer figure in the headline.
The report did not supply a complete television versus digital breakdown for October. It therefore does not establish how much of the overall gain came from ESPN television or YouTube, or whether an individual appearance caused the increase.
October’s result extends the program’s recent audience growth, but the record is specific to that month. The reported series includes higher combined averages earlier in 2026, including January. The verified claim is a new October high rather than an all-time monthly audience record.
