World Netball reports 40.5 million broadcast viewers for Commonwealth Games
The federation’s report lists broadcast audiences separately from its social-media reach.

The Glasgow Commonwealth Games netball competition attracted 40.5 million broadcast viewers, World Netball said Thursday in a post-event report prepared by media analytics company GSIQ.
The federation reported coverage across 35 markets and 45 channels, with 8,207 hours of broadcasting for the tournament held July 25 through Aug. 2. It said broadcast hours exceeded four times the level recorded at Birmingham in 2022.
World Netball separately reported social-media reach of 15.3 million. Its headline total of more than 55 million combines the broadcast figure and social reach.
The tournament issued 122,972 tickets, according to the federation.
