Mavericks Rule Out Max Christie Against Spurs With Hip Injury
The Mavericks guard will miss the November 4 game at San Antonio after leaving Monday’s Sacramento game early.

Dallas Mavericks guard Max Christie has been ruled out of Wednesday’s game at the San Antonio Spurs with right-hip soreness and tightness. The NBA’s Tuesday night injury report lists him out for the November 4 matchup, scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET.
Christie left Monday’s loss to the Sacramento Kings and did not return, according to NBC Sports. Tuesday’s designation confirms that he will miss Dallas’ next game after that early exit.
The Mavericks’ injury list also includes Dereck Lively II, who is out following right-foot surgery. Santi Aldama is questionable while recovering from right-knee surgery, and Tarik Biberovic is out with right-heel bursitis. Those designations were recorded in the league’s 10:30 p.m. EST report on November 3.
The report identifies Christie’s current hip symptoms without establishing a timetable beyond Wednesday’s game. Dallas has not announced a longer absence in that update, and the designation does not specify a replacement starter or a new playing-time assignment for another guard.
