Lyon–Angers Moves to Sunday; Lorient–Brest Set for Monday on beIN SPORTS

The revised Ligue 1 schedule puts Lyon–Angers at 11:15 a.m. EST on November 1 and Lorient–Brest at 2:45 p.m. EST on November 2.

Lyon’s home match against Angers will be played Sunday, November 1, at 11:15 a.m. EST, while Lorient will host Brest on Monday, November 2, at 2:45 p.m. EST following changes to the Ligue 1 schedule.

Both games were originally scheduled for Saturday, October 31. U.S. rights holder beIN SPORTS has confirmed the dates and Eastern kickoff times, with Lyon playing at Groupama Stadium and the Brittany derby taking place at Lorient’s Stade du Moustoir.

Lorient said the derby was moved at the request of the Morbihan prefecture and with the agreement of the French professional league. The club’s October 26 announcement confirms Monday, November 2, as the new date, with kickoff at the Eastern time listed above.

Tickets purchased for the original Saturday date remain valid for Monday, according to Lorient. The club directed supporters with questions to its ticket office. Its announcement does not require spectators to exchange those tickets before attending the rescheduled fixture.

The changes form part of a three-match adjustment for the ninth round. Nice against Rennes was brought forward to Friday, October 30, at 2 p.m. EDT, so that fixture is already outside the upcoming Sunday and Monday schedule.

beIN SPORTS says the two remaining games are included in its U.S. Ligue 1 coverage. The announced arrangement concerns the United States; the French league’s domestic platform listings serve a different market.

Lyon enters the Angers meeting seeking a fourth consecutive home league win. The league’s matchweek information lists Lyon fifth and Angers 14th entering the round. Angers drew 0–0 with Lorient in its previous game after conceding ten goals across its two preceding matches.

The confirmed dates give viewers two appointments: Lyon–Angers on Sunday morning and Lorient–Brest on Monday afternoon in Eastern Time. Both remain ninth-round league fixtures despite moving away from Saturday’s original slots.
