Korda Heads ANNIKA Field With Hall of Fame Eligibility in Reach
A victory at Pelican would supply the final point Korda needs for LPGA Hall of Fame eligibility.
Nelly Korda will have a chance to earn the final point she needs for LPGA Hall of Fame eligibility at The ANNIKA next week after entries closed for the tournament’s 108-player field.
The world No. 1 moved within one point by clinching the LPGA Player of the Year award Tuesday. A victory at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, would provide that point, the tournament announced Thursday.
Korda has won The ANNIKA three times. Defending champion Linn Grant, Lilia Vu and Sei Young Kim are also entered, putting every previous winner in the field.
The November 11-15 event offers a $3.25 million purse. Brooke Henderson, Charley Hull and Lottie Woad are among the other entrants.
