Juan Soto’s Brother Elian Hits First Arizona Fall League Homer
The 20-year-old Nationals prospect homered in Salt River’s 9-8 win over Scottsdale.
Elian Soto, the younger brother of Mets star Juan Soto, hit his first Arizona Fall League home run in Salt River’s 9-8 victory over Scottsdale on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old Nationals prospect drove a two-run homer with a 103.2 mph exit velocity, MLB.com reported Thursday. He reached base in each of his first six Fall League games.
Washington signed Soto in 2023. After difficult seasons at the Rookie levels, he produced an .824 OPS with Single-A Fredericksburg this year.
He has played both corner-outfield positions with Salt River after also working at first base earlier in his professional career.
