Giants Activate Paulson Adebo and Place Tremaine Edmunds on Injured Reserve
Adebo returns to the active roster ahead of Houston. Edmunds moves to injured reserve after being ruled out with a shoulder injury.

The Giants activated cornerback Paulson Adebo and placed linebacker Tremaine Edmunds on injured reserve Saturday, the team announced ahead of its Week 7 trip to Houston.
Adebo had returned to practice Wednesday after New York opened his window to come off injured reserve. He had been on the list since September 18 with a knee issue. The activation returns him to the roster after he began the week as a limited practice participant.
Edmunds had already been ruled out Friday with a shoulder injury, according to the team’s Week 7 tracker. Cornerback Greg Newsome II was also ruled out with a concussion.
New York additionally elevated wide receiver Jalin Hyatt and safety Raheem Layne from the practice squad for Sunday’s game. Those were standard elevations, separate from Adebo’s activation.
The Giants’ injury absences extend beyond Edmunds and Newsome. On Saturday, tight end Theo Johnson was downgraded from doubtful to out with a neck injury. Safety Jevón Holland was also ruled out as he continued dealing with a concussion.
