Cowboys–Packers Draws 24.656 Million Viewers on NBC

The October 18 game ranked second in Nielsen’s Total TV chart for October 12–18, behind CBS’s multi-game NFL window.

Cowboys–Packers averaged 24.656 million viewers on NBC, placing second in Nielsen’s Total TV chart for October 12–18, 2026. The Sunday Night Football game aired October 18 at Lambeau Field.

Nielsen’s table uses U.S. average audience projections for viewers ages 2 and older, measured through its Big Data + Panel system. It lists the Cowboys–Packers audience under NBC; that figure is not identified as a combined NBC and Peacock total.

CBS’s national late-afternoon NFL window led the same chart with 26.368 million viewers. That entry represents a network window carrying multiple games, rather than a separately reported audience for one matchup.

NBC Sports reported the same game average October 21. Nielsen’s current table does not state a publication date or label the figure preliminary, final or revised.

Green Bay beat Dallas 23–13 after building a 17–0 halftime lead. The ratings result measures the average audience for that telecast, rather than the number of unique people who watched any part of the game.
