George Pickens is expected to play against the Arizona Cardinals on November 1, according to Dallas Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer, although the receiver remains officially questionable. Dallas listed shoulder and hamstring injuries on its final Friday report.

The Cowboys’ October 30 update separated the coach’s expectation from the game designation. Pickens had been limited during the week while dealing with the shoulder problem and a hamstring issue. He played through the shoulder injury in Monday’s victory at Philadelphia.

Dallas will already be without another receiver, KaVontae Turpin, who was ruled out with injured ribs. Defensive tackle Kenny Clark is questionable with a back injury, while linebacker Dee Winters is out with a calf problem.

Pickens caught four passes for 57 yards and a touchdown in the 38–21 win over the Eagles. His longest reception covered 21 yards. Through seven games, he has 37 catches for 485 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 13.1 yards per reception. He has started every game this season and has a longest overall reception of 53 yards.

His biggest receiving game this season came against Tampa Bay in Week 5, when he caught nine passes for 130 yards and a touchdown. He followed that performance with six catches for 73 yards at Green Bay before scoring again in Philadelphia.

Pickens is in his second season with Dallas after beginning his NFL career in Pittsburgh. In 2025, he recorded 93 receptions for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns across 17 games, establishing career highs in all three categories. His previous best yardage total was 1,140 with the Steelers in 2023.

The Cardinals visit AT&T Stadium for a 1 p.m. EST kickoff Sunday on FOX. Dallas enters at 3–4 after Monday’s divisional win. Pickens’ questionable designation remains in place despite Schottenheimer’s stated expectation that he will be available.
