Adrian Kempe will return for the Los Angeles Kings against the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday, November 4, after missing one game with an undisclosed injury.
The NHL’s Wednesday status report confirms his planned return for the 10 p.m. EST game. Kempe missed Los Angeles’ 3–2 loss to Buffalo on October 31.
He has eight points, including three goals and five assists, in 12 games this season. The NHL’s official player record also credits him with 41 shots.
Kempe’s latest completed appearance was October 29 against Ottawa. He had five shots and played 22:01 in that game. Wednesday’s announced return is separate from those completed statistics; he has not yet played against San Jose.
Two of Kempe’s goals came in the Kings’ 5–2 win at Washington on October 20, The Associated Press reported. He scored in the first and third periods as Los Angeles earned its first victory of the season.
