McLaren Brings New Upgrades to Sao Paulo as Norris Seeks Improvement
Norris said the changes could help the car’s drivability after recent struggles to challenge for victories.

McLaren will introduce new car upgrades at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, with Lando Norris hoping the changes improve its drivability.
Norris discussed the updates Thursday ahead of the Interlagos weekend. He said the team wanted to keep improving the car but acknowledged that new parts could also make its handling problems worse, according to Formula 1’s report.
Norris and teammate Oscar Piastri have found the car difficult to push to its limit. McLaren won consecutive races during the summer but has struggled to contend for wins in recent events.
Norris’ defense of the drivers’ championship ended last weekend when Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli clinched the 2026 title in Mexico.
