Hornets Rule Kon Knueppel Out Against Celtics After Injury Setback
A left hamstring strain will keep the Charlotte wing out Friday after his season debut lasted six minutes.

The Charlotte Hornets ruled Kon Knueppel out of Friday’s game against the Boston Celtics with a left hamstring strain, according to the team’s injury report.
Knueppel had returned Wednesday after missing Charlotte’s first eight games with a hamstring injury. He left the 114-104 loss to Brooklyn after about six minutes with what the Hornets initially called left leg soreness.
He scored three points, all on free throws, and missed his only field-goal attempt. Charlotte had not announced how much additional time he would miss.
The Hornets also listed Grant Williams out with a right hamstring injury. Moussa Diabate, with right quadriceps tendinopathy, and Dennis Schroder, with left thigh soreness, were questionable for Friday.
