Olivia Miles Points to Clark’s Shooting and Playmaking as Defensive Problems
The Lynx guard described the attention Caitlin Clark demands in transition and when attacking downhill.

Olivia Miles singled out Caitlin Clark’s shooting, playmaking and transition offense when discussing the WNBA guards she finds difficult to defend.
Appearing on The Old Man and the Three, in comments reported Thursday by EssentiallySports, Miles said Clark’s ability to attack downhill with her right hand and create for teammates demands constant attention.
“Obviously, Caitlin, with the shooting and her playmaking ability,” Miles said.
Miles also described the difficulty of containing Clark in transition, saying defenders need bodies around her to make those possessions harder.
The Lynx’s season statistics list Miles at 19.8 points and 6.0 assists per game in her rookie year.
