NTT will become an official partner of McLaren’s Formula 1 team from the 2027 season under a multiyear agreement announced by McLaren on Wednesday.

The technology company will support the team’s use of artificial intelligence, including governance and a framework to manage security risks. McLaren said the partnership would also create client and fan programs tied to the team.

The arrangement extends an existing relationship between McLaren and NTT companies. NTT Communications, now NTT DOCOMO BUSINESS, previously worked with the Formula 1 operation, while NTT DATA has partnered with Arrow McLaren in IndyCar.

McLaren did not announce the agreement’s financial value or a specific end date. The new partnership is scheduled to begin next season rather than during the remaining 2026 races.
