The NBA has extended its partnership with ServiceNow and plans to deploy EmployeeWorks for internal employee services, the company announced Wednesday. ServiceNow will continue as the league’s official employee workflow partner.

The planned service gives NBA employees one place to handle onboarding and workplace requests. The announcement lists HR tasks and routine IT needs, including password resets, account access and software requests, among the intended uses.

EmployeeWorks also includes a calendaring assistant for meetings and room reservations. Employees will be able to find policies and internal documents across company systems and take action through the same interface.

The extension builds on the NBA’s existing use of ServiceNow technology. Its Home Court employee intranet already runs on Employee Center Pro, according to the release.

NBA chief technology officer Krishna Bhagavathula said the league wants to simplify everyday employee tasks by bringing services and information together. The announcement describes a planned deployment and its intended benefits; it does not provide measured productivity results or financial terms for the extended agreement.
