The LA Clippers list Isaiah Jackson as questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Miami Heat because of left groin soreness.

The NBA’s 5:30 p.m. EST injury report retains that designation for the 10:30 p.m. game at Intuit Dome. Jackson was a late addition to the report Wednesday afternoon, according to NBA.com’s player news.

If Jackson is ruled out, Brook Lopez would likely remain the Clippers’ starting center, NBA.com reported. That remains conditional: Jackson’s current designation does not confirm an absence, and the team can update his status before tipoff.

Coach Tyronn Lue named Jackson the opening-night starter in October, Heavy reported, citing reporter Joey Linn’s October 17 account of Lue’s comments. The earlier decision provides context for his role but does not establish Wednesday’s lineup.

Jackson joined the Clippers from Indiana in a February trade. He averaged 7.5 points and 4.6 rebounds in 17 regular-season appearances for Los Angeles last season, when he did not start a game for the team.
