The New York Knicks have ruled Josh Hart out of Wednesday’s game against the Chicago Bulls because of right ankle soreness.

The NBA’s 5 p.m. EST injury report confirms his absence for the 7:30 p.m. game at Madison Square Garden. Hart had been listed as questionable on Tuesday’s report, Heavy’s Alder Almo reported. The current designation settles his availability for this game without supplying a return timetable.

Hart had eight points, six rebounds, seven assists and three steals in nearly 27 minutes during New York’s 103–90 victory over Brooklyn on Monday, November 2. The Knicks outscored the Nets by 22 points while he was on the floor.

He also played nearly 36 minutes in New York’s 133–127 win at Chicago on October 28. Hart scored two points on 1-for-6 shooting in that meeting but added eight rebounds and three assists.

The Knicks erased a 19-point second-half deficit in the October 28 game. They enter Wednesday’s rematch having won three of four after opening the season 0–3.
