Celtics Rule Out Jayson Tatum Against Bucks for Rest
Boston lists Tatum out for Wednesday’s game against Milwaukee. Payton Pritchard was upgraded to available with a right shoulder contusion.

The Boston Celtics have ruled Jayson Tatum out of their Wednesday, November 4, home game against the Milwaukee Bucks for rest, according to the NBA’s Wednesday injury report.
The league’s 6:45 p.m. EST report lists Tatum as out with rest as the reason. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. EST at TD Garden.
Boston also lists Payton Pritchard as available with a right shoulder contusion in the 6:45 p.m. report. He was questionable in the 5 p.m. report; the later update resolves his availability while Tatum remains out.
Tatum scored 32 points in Boston’s 108–97 win at Orlando on Sunday, November 1, The Associated Press reported. He made 15 of 17 free throws as the Celtics earned their fifth consecutive victory. Orlando attempted 19 free throws as a team.
That completed performance included two late midrange baskets as Boston pulled away in the fourth quarter. Wednesday’s decision is a separate availability update: the league lists rest rather than a new injury for Tatum.
