Pitchwise Agrees to Buy 42% Valencia Stake and Invest €100 Million
The agreement values the club at €1.25 billion on an enterprise basis. Meriton will retain majority ownership; closing and regulatory approval remain pending.

Pitchwise Holdings has agreed to acquire a 42% stake in Valencia CF from Meriton Holdings, the Spanish soccer club announced Friday, October 23. The investment remains subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
The agreement values Valencia at €1.25 billion on an enterprise-value basis. Pitchwise will also provide €100 million in new capital for direct investment in the club. The valuation is separate from that fresh capital contribution.
Meriton will remain the majority shareholder, and Kiat Lim will continue as president. Pitchwise executives Ann Rodriguez and Corey Woolfolk will join him in the new ownership group.
Pitchwise is a consortium of private family offices and long-term institutional investors. Its backers include KKR co-founders George Roberts and Henry Kravis, along with Penner Sports Group.
Reuters reported that the valuation includes debt. Valencia said it reflects the men’s and women’s teams, the existing 49,000-seat Mestalla stadium and the Nou Mestalla project, planned for more than 70,000 spectators.
