Pat Surtain II Inactive for Broncos Against Cardinals
Denver listed its cornerback inactive after three limited practices. Jonah Coleman was available following his return from injured reserve.

The Denver Broncos listed cornerback Pat Surtain II as inactive for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals after he entered the weekend with a questionable designation.
Surtain was limited in all three practices during the week. He initially sustained his injury against San Francisco in Week 4, according to the Broncos. Arizona’s game-day report identified the injury as an ankle issue.
Denver was also without safety Talanoa Hufanga, who had already been ruled out. Safety Taylor Rapp and defensive back Sean Fresch Jr. were active after their elevations from the practice squad on Saturday.
Running back Jonah Coleman was available following his activation from injured reserve Saturday. His previous appearance came in Denver’s Week 2 win over Jacksonville, when he totaled 58 scrimmage yards and a touchdown.
Outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper was active as Denver prepared for his season debut. Sam Ehlinger was designated the emergency third quarterback.
Arizona was also missing a starting cornerback. Max Melton was inactive with a knee injury, while veteran Starling Thomas V dressed for his second game of the season.
