Wichita State’s Noah Hill to Miss 2026–27 Season With Foot Injury
Hill’s attempt to recover from a June foot injury will not permit a return this season. Wichita State plans continued rehabilitation toward 2027–28.

Wichita State sophomore Noah Hill will miss the 2026–27 men’s basketball season because of a foot injury, coach Paul Mills announced Tuesday, November 3.
The school’s announcement said Hill had been working to recover from a foot injury sustained in June. That effort will not allow him to compete this season. He will remain with the team and continue daily rehabilitation with the aim of being ready for 2027–28.
Hill, a native of Frisco, Texas, appeared in 23 games as a freshman and had been preparing for a larger role in his second season. His absence removes that planned sophomore contribution from Wichita State’s rotation for the full year.
Mills said Hill had invested considerable work in his recovery and preparation before the season-ending determination. He described Hill as an important member of the current team and said the program would continue supporting his rehabilitation. The school’s stated plan keeps Hill involved with the group while his focus shifts from returning this season to preparing for the next one.
