UMass signs eight-year Under Armour outfitting agreement

The partnership covers the university’s varsity teams and athletics staff beginning July 1, 2027.

UMass has agreed to an eight-year partnership with Under Armour that will make the company its exclusive athletics outfitter beginning July 1, 2027, the university announced Wednesday.

The agreement covers all 21 varsity programs and athletics staff, including uniforms and other team apparel. Under Armour will also supply footwear, accessories and sports equipment under the arrangement.

UMass said the partnership will support competition and training across the department. The university joined the Mid-American Conference in 2025 and has more than 650 athletes across its NCAA Division I programs.

The university’s announcement did not disclose a dollar value for the agreement.
