Shannon Ryan Stops Emma Dolan in 46 Seconds to Win British Title
Ryan knocked Dolan down twice in the opening round of their Sheffield rematch, adding the British super flyweight belt and avenging her only professional defeat.

Shannon Ryan stopped Emma Dolan in 46 seconds of their rematch Saturday at Sheffield’s Utilita Arena, winning the British super flyweight title and avenging the only defeat of her professional career.
Ryan knocked Dolan down twice before referee Howard Foster halted the contest in the opening round, according to Boxing Only’s result report. Matchroom’s official fight video also confirms the first-round stoppage. The bout had been scheduled for ten two-minute rounds and opened the main DAZN broadcast.
The victory added Dolan’s British championship to the Commonwealth and IBF Intercontinental belts Ryan already held. Those were regional titles at stake, rather than a world championship.
Dolan had won their first meeting by split decision in June 2024. Ryan then won four consecutive fights before returning for the rematch, making Saturday’s result her fifth straight victory.
Ryan improved to 12–1 with three stoppages, while Dolan fell to 9–2. Their bout appeared on the Sheffield card headlined by Dalton Smith’s WBC title defense against Alberto Puello.
