The Las Vegas Raiders activated wide receiver Jack Bech from injured reserve Saturday before their Week 8 game against the New York Jets. Bech had been sidelined by a broken forearm suffered against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3 and went on injured reserve September 29.

The roster move followed three full practices, but did not establish that Bech would be among Sunday’s game-day actives. The Raiders’ Friday injury report listed him as questionable with the forearm injury despite his full participation Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. That designation means his availability was not certain.

Las Vegas opened Bech’s return-to-practice window October 26. The team then had 21 days to activate him or return him to injured reserve, and Saturday’s transaction completed that roster step five days after the designation. The injury had interrupted the receiver’s second NFL season.

Before the injury, Bech caught three passes for 23 yards and a touchdown in the season-opening victory over Miami, then added two receptions for 25 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers. Those catches accounted for his season totals of five receptions, 48 yards and one touchdown.

As a rookie in 2025, Bech played in 16 games with five starts, making 20 catches for 224 yards. His longest reception covered 37 yards. He recorded a season-high six receptions for 50 yards against Denver in December, according to the Raiders’ official biography.

The Raiders selected Bech 58th overall in the second round of the 2025 draft after two seasons at LSU and two at TCU. In his final college season, he had 62 catches for 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns. His return gives Las Vegas another roster option, with his final game-day status still separate from the activation.

Sunday’s away matchup against the Jets is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium.
