Philadelphia Union Extend Neil Pierre Through 2030-31
The 19-year-old center back has become a regular starter since returning from a loan in Denmark.

The Philadelphia Union have signed center back Neil Pierre to a contract through the 2030-31 season, with an option for 2031-32, the club announced Thursday.
Pierre, 19, first signed a homegrown contract before the 2025 season. He spent the first half of the 2026 campaign on loan at Denmark’s Lyngby Boldklub before returning to Philadelphia.
According to MLS’s announcement, he has four goals and one assist in 14 games since returning, establishing himself in the starting lineup during the Union’s 15-game unbeaten run of 12 wins and three draws since the World Cup.
Pierre has also earned his first three United States senior caps and ranked seventh in the league’s annual 22 Under 22 list.
