Nicolas Jackson Double Hands Manchester City First League Defeat
Nicolas Jackson’s double ended Manchester City’s perfect league start.

Nicolas Jackson scored twice as Aston Villa beat Manchester City 2–1 at Villa Park on Saturday, ending City’s perfect start to the Premier League season under Enzo Maresca.
Jackson put Villa ahead in the seventh minute after a loose touch from Marc Guehi. Erling Haaland equalized with a header from Iliman Ndiaye’s cross in the 53rd, but Jackson restored the lead seven minutes later.
The winner came from Ibrahim Mbaye’s delivery, with Jackson’s first-time finish getting underneath goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to Sky Sports’ match report.
Villa goalkeeper Zion Suzuki made important saves. Ndiaye struck the post and Suzuki pushed a Josko Gvardiol effort onto the crossbar, while Ian Maatsen cleared a late Haaland header off the line.
The result gave Villa their first home Premier League win of the season and moved them to sixth. Jackson has scored six times in six games. City had won every league match before its trip to Birmingham.
