Nemechek Joins Haas Factory Team for 2027 O’Reilly Season

The 11-time series winner will drive the No. 41 Chevrolet with crew chief Jason Trinchere.

John Hunter Nemechek will drive the No. 41 Chevrolet for Haas Factory Team in the 2027 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, the team announced Nov. 4.

Nemechek, an 11-time series winner, will work with crew chief Jason Trinchere, who has led Sam Mayer’s No. 41 team for the past two seasons. Pye-Barker Fire & Safety will be the primary sponsor.

Haas has also named Dean Thompson to its 2027 lineup and previously announced plans to expand from two cars to three. Its third driver has not been announced.

Nemechek has driven Legacy Motor Club’s No. 42 Toyota in Cup since 2024. His best full O’Reilly season came in 2023, when he won seven races and finished fourth in the championship.
