Nelly Korda Clinches 2026 LPGA Player of the Year Award
The LPGA confirmed Korda’s second Player of the Year honor with three events left in the season.

Nelly Korda clinched the 2026 Rolex Player of the Year award on Tuesday, November 3, the LPGA announced, securing the honor for the second time with three events remaining in the season.
The tour confirmed the result after the 5 p.m. ET entry deadline for The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican. Korda’s remaining challengers no longer had enough tournament opportunities to pass her in the points race.
Korda, 28, has won four times in 2026 and has led the Player of the Year standings since winning The Chevron Championship. She entered the tour’s fall Asia swing with a 75-point advantage, according to the LPGA.
Jeeno Thitikul and Miyu Yamashita each needed three wins to have a chance to overtake her, but both were scheduled for only two remaining events. Haeran Ryu had kept her chances alive with a runner-up finish at the BMW Ladies Championship before withdrawing from the Maybank Championship.
Korda previously won Player of the Year in 2024. She will be honored at the Rolex LPGA Awards on November 17 during the week of the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship.
