Liam Lawson said Thursday that his Formula 1 future remains uncertain as Racing Bulls considers three drivers for two seats in 2027.
Team principal Alan Permane has identified Lawson, current teammate Arvid Lindblad and Red Bull junior Nikola Tsolov as the candidates, according to Formula 1’s report.
Lawson has scored 83 points and is ninth in the drivers’ standings. His recent results include seventh-place finishes in Bahrain, Singapore and Mexico.
In Mexico, Lawson recovered from a qualifying disqualification and a pit-lane start to finish seventh. Racing Bulls enters the Sao Paulo weekend fifth in the teams’ standings.
