Raptors to Re-Evaluate Kawhi Leonard’s Left Knee in at Least a Week
Toronto says imaging found no acute injury, but knee swelling will keep Leonard out before another assessment.

Kawhi Leonard will be re-evaluated in at least one week because of swelling in his left knee, Toronto said Tuesday, according to Reuters. Imaging did not show an acute injury.
The Raptors forward was scratched from Sunday’s 117–94 loss to Minnesota. The update puts him out for Toronto’s next four games, beginning with Wednesday’s matchup against Orlando.
Leonard averaged 19.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in his first two appearances. He shot 32.4 percent from the field during those games, including four makes in 14 attempts from three-point range.
The review window is a medical checkpoint, so it should not be read as a promise that Leonard will play immediately after seven days. Toronto will need another assessment before a firmer availability picture emerges.
For lineup planning, the practical development is a continued absence rather than a confirmed return date. Subsequent team reports will determine whether the swelling has settled enough for Leonard to resume game action.
