Cagliari Rule Out Mina and Aurelio Against Frosinone
Fabio Pisacane confirmed several injury absences but said Harry Winks is available for Saturday’s match.
Yerry Mina and Giuseppe Aurelio will miss Cagliari’s home match against Frosinone on Saturday because of muscle injuries, coach Fabio Pisacane said Friday.
Mina has a hamstring injury and Aurelio has a low-grade soleus injury, Pisacane said in his pregame news conference. The club did not announce recovery dates.
Alieu Fadera and M’Bala Nzola are also out with muscle injuries. Adam Obert is suspended and has knee discomfort, while Riyad Idrissi and Mattia Felici remain unavailable.
Harry Winks has recovered and is available, Pisacane said. The midfielder could have played against Lazio, but Cagliari chose not to risk him.
Pisacane will bring Under-20 player Prettenhoffer into the group. He said he would wait until Saturday morning to settle his tactical choices as Cagliari seek to end a four-game losing run.
