Bob Arum Hopes for Foster–Lomachenko Fight in Mid-2027
Arum outlined a possible 130-pound meeting after intervening fights, with Charly Suarez his suggested next opponent for Lomachenko.

“Loma will fight probably Charly Suarez and then hopefully in mid-year they can fight each other,” Bob Arum said of a possible meeting between Vasiliy Lomachenko and O’Shaquie Foster.
The Top Rank promoter outlined the idea in an interview excerpted by Bad Left Hook on Monday, after Foster’s victory over Emanuel Navarrete. Under Arum’s scenario, both men would face other opponents before meeting in 2027.
Foster unified three super featherweight titles with Saturday’s win in San Antonio. Lomachenko attended the fight and announced his intention to return to boxing, according to the report.
Arum described Lomachenko as training in Puerto Rico and wanting to pursue unification at 130 pounds. He identified Suarez as a probable opponent, rather than announcing that bout or a Foster fight as signed.
Asked about potential major fights for Lomachenko, Arum said: “So he hasn’t any aspirations other than 130.”
