Devin Haney Signs Multifight DAZN Deal as Welterweight Options Develop

Haney’s October 23 agreement brings the three-division champion into DAZN’s boxing business, with a Liam Paro unification discussed as a possible next fight.

Devin Haney has signed an exclusive multifight agreement with DAZN, adding the three-division world champion to the streaming company’s boxing business. The agreement was announced October 23 and concerns Haney’s promotional partnership rather than a completed announcement of his next opponent, date and venue.

DAZN’s announcement positions the deal as a route to major fights across its promotional network and global partners. Haney told ESPN that he wants the biggest challenges and opponents that fans want to see.

Haney, 27, holds the WBO welterweight championship and has a 33–0 record with 15 knockouts, BoxingScene reported. He previously won championships at lightweight and junior welterweight before defeating Brian Norman Jr. for the WBO belt last November, extending his championship career across divisions.

BoxingScene reported that Haney had turned toward a potential unification with Australian IBF champion Liam Paro after talks with Shakur Stevenson collapsed. That reporting identifies the direction of negotiations. It does not establish that every term has been agreed or that a fight has been formally scheduled.

The agreement also includes the longer-term development of Devin Haney Promotions. Bill Haney, the fighter’s father, trainer and manager, described building the company into a broader championship business and developing other fighters alongside DAZN. The deal therefore has a promotional-company dimension in addition to Haney’s own fights.

DAZN’s expanding relationships with prominent fighters form part of its competition with Zuffa Boxing and Paramount+. Stevenson’s recent exit from Zuffa illustrates how individual contracts and prospective matchups can move independently of one another. Haney’s signing is confirmed; proposed opponents still require their own announcements.

For viewers, the practical next step is the announcement of a card, location and viewing terms. A multifight partnership does not supply those details for every future appearance, nor does it guarantee that a particular proposed unification will take place.
