Joshua Van will defend the UFC flyweight title against Manel Kape at UFC 336 in Toronto on Jan. 30, 2027, with Carlos Prates and Michael Morales also scheduled to fight for the interim welterweight championship.

The UFC announced both fights Oct. 24 for Scotiabank Arena. Van has defended the flyweight title against Tatsuro Taira and Alexandre Pantoja, while Kape earned his opportunity after stopping Brandon Royval and Kyoji Horiguchi.

Morales enters the welterweight matchup unbeaten at 19-0, including seven UFC victories. Prates has beaten former champions Leon Edwards and Jack Della Maddalena. The promotion said the interim winner would earn a fight against welterweight champion Islam Makhachev.
