Vikings Add Guard C.J. Hanson to Practice Squad
Minnesota adds offensive line depth with a former Kansas City draft pick who was waived with an ankle injury in August.
The Minnesota Vikings signed guard C.J. Hanson to their practice squad Thursday, the team announced.
Kansas City selected Hanson in the seventh round in 2024. He was a reserve as a rookie, spent most of 2025 on the Chiefs’ practice squad and joined their active roster in December. Kansas City waived him with an ankle injury at the end of this year’s preseason.
Hanson played five seasons at Holy Cross and started all 11 games at right guard in his final college season. He earned first-team All-Patriot League recognition.
